January 14-18, 2019

A Note from Mrs. Grant

We have another busy week in sixth grade. On Monday, the students have a 2pm dismissal. On Tuesday and Thursday, the students will be finishing up their MAP testing with their Math and Science tests. On Friday, there is a teacher in-service day so there is no school for the students. During this week, please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep and has a good breakfast so they can be focused and show their best for the MAP testing. Thank you for all your support!

Please remember to check the list for your child’s week to be our Snack Shack managers. Snack Shack has been going well and the students are having a great time selling the snacks and seeing the results of their hard work on the financial report! This week, our Snack Shack managers are Jermaine Johnson and Mercedes Rush. Due to having Friday off, the students will sell the snacks on Thursday. Parents remember we still have plenty of snacks already so do not spend more than $5-$10 on snacks. Thank you for supporting the sixth grade in their business endeavor.

Below is a list of the students who are on Honor Guard this week. If your student is participating, they must stay until the end. Please do not pick them up during car line unless I have been given a note. Thank you for your support!
