A Note From Mrs. Marsha

Dear Families,

This week the students will begin MAP testing to finish off the 2nd quarter. I am so excited to see the progress each student has made. I am extremely proud of all of their hard work thus far in first grade! The students will begin a new math unit on place value. The students will explore expanded form with manipulatives and understand how to write expanded form with two-digit numbers. We also will be studying and reading the great hero Martin Luther King.
