October Newsletter

Dear Parents and Friends of St. Peter’s Catholic School,

Between Hurricanes Florence and Michael, we’ve had quite a lot of excitement here at St. Peter’s these last two months.  We are grateful that we have not been heavily impacted by either storm and pray for all of those who were affected.

We have had a few wonderful events on campus celebrating our parish and school communities: Blessing of the Pets and Grandparents’ Day!  Fr. Linksy shared how much he enjoyed hearing the giggles of the students watching their pets bark, meow and howl.  A grandmother shared how much she enjoyed visiting during Grandparent’s Day and praised the environment provided by our faculty.  What a joy to observe our community in action and feel the excitement experienced by our students!

I’d like to remind everyone of our upcoming PTO Halloween Party!  It will take place in Neglia Hall on Thursday, October 25th from 5:30-7:30pm.  Enjoy this opportunity to laugh, play and get to know other families in our school community.  Students (and parents) are welcome to come dressed in their best costumes.  In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it’s easy to get caught up in the many “to dos,” but it’s important to remind ourselves of the importance of family and fun.  Take the time to relish in the simple joys of childhood!

Thank you for giving your child the gift of a Catholic education and for choosing St. Peter’s.

Sincerely in Christ,
