What is K5 Doing This Week? April 9-13

Hello K5 Families,

Welcome back! We hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter and enjoyable break! With the 4th quarter underway, K5 is ready to work hard and continue learning and growing in ways unimaginable!

During the next few weeks, we will be discussing Growing and Changing. We will discuss how people, plants, and animals grow and change. Ultimately, we will explore the idea that “change is all around us.”

For the remainder of the school year your child will be bringing home a RED. (Read Every Day) folder. The folder will contain weekly word family work, sight words, and leveled readers from our reading series. Please note that this will replace our monthly homework calendar and weekly sight word notecards. A letter will be sent home today regarding this folder. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.
