Lent begins with Ash Wednesday this week. Your child will be receiving ashes on their foreheads to remind them to “Repent, and believe in the Gospel,” and “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” We hope to see many of you at Mass, as well. If you come to Mass, remember that your child may sit with you.
The traditional Lenten Rice Bowls will be coming home in the Tuesday folders so that your family may have the opportunity to make sacrifices and collect spare change for the poor.
It was wonderful to see you at the Angels in the Vista Auction on Saturday! Thank you to Mrs. O’Brien for chairing the auction and all the parents who worked so hard for its success.
This week we will have a 11:30 Dismissal on Thursday and no school on Friday so that all teachers may attend the Diocesan Teacher Education Conference. There will be no After School Program on either day.
