4/23/19 – 4/26/19

Note from Mrs.Russell:

I hope you had a wonderful Spring Break and Easter.

Please check your email since I sent you one with lots of information and explanations.

I will not be in this week because I am attending the NCEA (National Catholic Educational Association) Convention in Chicago. I will be bringing back a lot of new and wonderful ideas for our class and the school. Mrs. DiTolla will be our substitute teacher which is wonderful because your children know her well.

I am still looking for an enthusiastic gardener to speak to our class about GARDENING! Please contact me.

I wanted to thank Caeli’s grandmother for outbidding everyone at the Auction so that we could win the Dress Down Day on Friday, April 26th. This is ONLY for second grade students and not their siblings.

Remember that students will not have PE this Thursday due to the Field Trip so please send them in their BEST uniforms for the Koger Center Field Trip.

Thank you to Daniel’s Mom for coming in last Tuesday to make Easter crafts with the students.  They really enjoyed it.

Nine members of our class will be receiving their First Holy Communion at 5:30 PM on Saturday, April 27th.  I wanted to officially invite each one of you to attend, as well.  Even if your child is not participating this year, their classmates would love to see them there.  Of course, all are welcome.  You do not need to be Catholic to attend this joyous occasion.
