August Newsletter

Dear Parents,

We are excited about meeting each and every one of you and welcoming you personally into our St. Peter’s Catholic School Family!

The time spent at St. Peter’s Catholic School can truly be a wonderful experience because of the unique quality of our program, providing an excellent nurturing education and a strong foundation for success in school. We share the same hopes – that this year will be a fun time for all of our Kindergarten 4 students, a time of growth: physically, socially, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.

We want every child to be successful and to feel happy and safe. A positive attitude is so important for a child’s success. We intend to do our utmost to foster that attitude in your child in a fun, safe and friendly environment. You can count on great activities and a rewarding program for your child this year.

Our activities have been developed so that your child have the opportunities to develop skills in the areas of Religion, Language Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Guidance and Social Skills, Arts, Music Awareness, Physical Education and Foreign Language (Spanish). Activities are created to be developmentally appropriate as possible to best suit the needs of each student.  The activities are planned so that each day’s activities will be done either in groups of various sizes, individually, or as a whole class.

A newsletter will be distributed on a monthly basis to each family; describing our lesson themes and activities.  It also highlights important dates to remember and reminders. In addition, the newsletter will also be posted on our web site. All reminders will be inserted in your child’s “Tuesday Folder” and taken home each Tuesday.  Parent/teacher communication is very important for the success of your child. We heartily welcome your input and participation to achieve our mutual goals.
