A Note From Mrs. Horabik               

This is going to be an exciting fun filled week. On Thursday, we will have our music program in Neglia Hall at 7:00pm. Please have students in Neglia Hall at 6:30pm. On Friday, December 15,2017, you may drop off items for the Angels In the Vista Auction between 7:30am and 1:00pm in the school Library. All donations are greatly appreciated! As we head closer to Christmas break, I look forward to another week of Advent filled with love, peace, joy  and hope.

 

This Week In Class

Reading: This week we will read Christmas Stories. We will talk about the true meaning of Christmas.

 

Spelling/Vocabulary: This week’s spelling words are Jesus, Mary, bag, gift, toys, cookie, milk, Santa, Mrs. Claus, North Pole , candy cane, boots, and ho, ho,ho. The test will be on Friday.

 

Social Studies: We will be studying Bethlehem.

 

Science: This week we will learn about rocks. How can we classify rocks?

 

Math: Students will work on 2 digit subtraction.

 

Religion: This week we will talk about Christmas. What is the true meaning of Christmas?
