December 4th -8th

A Note From Mrs. Horabik                                                

It is hard to believe we are in the first week of December! This week we will be celebrating the Feast of Saint Nicholas. We will be making shoes for the special day!  On Thursday we will be having the Strength and  Movement Parent Presentation  at 12:45 pm in Neglia Hall . Hope to see you there! On Friday, we will be going to see “Twas the Night before Christmas” at the Koger Center. We will leave at 8:00am so be sure to get to school on time. We will also be celebrating the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. We will attend Mass at 12:00pm on Friday. Please wear Mass uniforms. I am looking forward to a fantastic week!


This Week In Class

Reading: This week we will read Schools around the World. We will talk about the main idea and details.


Spelling/Vocabulary: This week’s spelling words are free, teach, teeth, please, beach, wheel, team, speak, sneeze, sheep, meaning, and weave. The test will be on Friday.


Social Studies: We will be studying Saint Nicholas. What did Saint Nicholas do?


Science: Students will learn about changes of the Earth. We will learn about the effects of an Earthquake.


Math: Students will work on 2 digit addition.


Religion: This week we will talk about Saint Nicholas. How did Saint Nicholas help others?

Thursday- PE, uniforms and tennis shoes /Please bring a water bottle
