In class this week…
Religion: In religion this week, the class will finish our study of the Holy Spirit.
Reading: The class has begun our new novel “The Wright 3”! They have been enthralled with this book from the first paragraph. We will integrate our math units into reading this book, so the students will see how the math concepts they are learning translate into the real world. Ask them about their pentominoes.
Language Arts: The students will continue with verbs this week, focusing on helping and being verbs. They will have their spelling test on Friday from the list they received last week. STAR homework also due Friday!
Math: The students have begun division! We are working in math groups on various concepts such as fact families, writing division problems, and long division for some. Please continue to practice those multiplication facts! Congrats to Reva, Rhett, and Connor for passing all of them!
