Dear Parents,

It was wonderful to see parents last week at the conferences! If you were unable to make it, send me an email and we can schedule another time to meet.

This week, we are practicing our long and short vowels. We had a test on Monday to see where students are at currently learning these vowels. I appreciate all of the hard work students have been putting into this. In Science, we will be working on learning about spring and summer. In Math, we will be learning about different pattern types. In Social Studies, we will be finishing up our lessons on community helpers. Students will be taking an assessment on Friday to test their knowledge on this. We have covered teachers, doctors, nurses, firefighters, police officers, and mail carriers.

Thank you so much to everyone who brought in treats for our little Halloween party in class last week! Also next Monday, November 11th, we will be having an early dismissal day at 2pm. The after school program will be available. There will also be a Veteran’s Day parade starting at 11am.

Let’s have another great week of school!

Have a wonderful and blessed week,

Ms. Rovelli
