Dear Parents,

Yesterday, the students had a wonderful time on their field trip to celebrate the Veteran’s Day Parade! We had such a fun time being able to show our appreciation for all those that serve our country.

This week in ELA, we will be introducing CVC words and then will begin focusing on the beginning sound of these words. In Math, we will be working on counting and practice our handwriting of the numbers “six” and “seven”. In Science, we are going to begin wrapping up our lessons on the seasons and associated weather patterns with a review of each season each day. Students will have an assessment in a couple weeks on their understanding of these seasons, their activities, weather, and clothing. In Social Studies, we will begin discussing community businesses and the goods that they provide us.

Also, next Monday (November 18th), K-5 will be presenting during the Morning Prayer. Their presentation will be on “gratitude”. Students will be singing a song and discussing what they are grateful for in their life. Parents are welcome to join us! The Morning Prayer begins at 8:30am and ends at 9:00am. We hope to see you there!

Have a wonderful and blessed week,

Ms. Rovelli
