May Newsletter

Friends and Family of St. Peter’s Catholic School,

As we kick off the month of May, I am absolutely awestruck by how quickly this year has flown by.  Our final weeks and days are action-packed, so please keep our May calendar handy!  Hopefully, you will be able to join us for some of our upcoming events: our Spring Music Performance, the PTO Family Picnic, the May Procession and Rosary, Field Day, our 6th grade and K5 Graduations, a night out with the Columbia Fireflies, and our 1st through 5th grade Awards Ceremony.

In addition to all of our end of the year events, we have one last fundraising opportunity: Midlands Gives. Midlands Gives brings the Midlands region together as one community, raising money and awareness for nonprofits during an 18-hour online giving challenge.  This year, Midlands Gives is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7th!  Our goal is to receive donations from 175 unique donors so that we may receive a BONUS of $27,000!! Help us achieve our goal by giving and sharing our call to action.  The minimum donation is $20 and every donation counts.

Why give?  Technology trends are constantly changing and evolving. St. Peter’s is committed to using technology as a tool to enhance our students’ educational experiences.  In order to update the technology at our school, we must start by updating our Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure.

I ask for your prayers that more families will make the commitment to Catholic education as you have and enroll their children in St. Peter’s Catholic School for the 2019-2020 academic year.

As always, I ask for your prayers to give me the guidance and wisdom needed to serve as principal of St. Peter’s Catholic School.

May God Bless you!

Mrs. Aubrey Wall
