What is K5 Doing This Week? April 23-27

Hello K5 Families,

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth.” Genesis 1:1

This week students will learn how they can be good stewards of the Earth. Students will demonstrate an understanding and appreciation for reducing, recycling, and reusing everyday items.

With May right around the corner, I want to remind all that it is important that you please check your child’s folder for information and details regarding upcoming events. I also want to remind you all about the school-wide service project, Birthright of Columbia.  A flyer was sent home in last week’s Tuesday folder listing items for mothers and newborns. We are collecting these items in the classroom. Also, Midlands Gives will take place on May 1. More information regarding the event will be sent home. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.
